A Condo in BGC for this Busy Chef

With her busy schedule, Regina Plan loves spending time in her own place—a condo in BGC she invested in two years ago.

For this busy chef, getting a condo of her own was a worthy investment

Millennials are making bigger, bolder decisions—and one of those is purchasing their own home. That’s exactly what 27-year old Regine Plan did: she took the plunge in 2016, choosing a space that suits her as an independent young woman. It’s no surprise then that the savvy chef (she graduated from the Red Apron Cooking Academy) chose Avida Towers BGC 9th Avenue. The cozy and neat pad is within Bonifacio Global City, giving her easy access to shops, restaurants, and lifestyle-enhancing establishments.

But Regine doesn’t need to go far to find something to do. In fact, she confesses that, “My favorite part of the house is the living room, because I can relax, watch TV, and enjoy my view when I come home from work.”

She’s also a big fan of her condo’s amenities, especially the pool and gym. “I can keep myself fit despite my busy schedule,” she says.

Having a busy schedule is an understatement—Regine currently works as a chef in a five-star hotel, which means stressful, crazy work hours. Her schedule gets so hectic, that she misses out on chilling at home. “I just want to spend more time [at home],” she says. “I’m thinking about how I can make it look better…and of course, appreciate what I have now.”

One thing’s for sure: Regine is loving her independence in owning her own place. In fact, she urges young professionals to consider getting their own pad. “It’s a worthy investment,” she says. “When getting a condominium, make sure it suits your work and lifestyle.”
